These dogs have to be in great physical shape to do their jobs. The job requires a great deal of stamina. The herding breed dogs are known for their obedience as they take the signals given by the herdsmen and act them out with precise skill. Many farms enlist a single dog to herd over a 1,000 animals at a time. The dog must be very well trained and adept to manage such a task.
